BREAKING: Right Hand Man of Katsina’s Emir Died
Alhaji Nuhu Abdulkadir, the mayor of Rimi town, has succeeded Kauran Katsina as mayor.
On Tuesday morning, NewsReport learned about Alhaji Abdulkadir’s demise.
The deceased was Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, the right-hand man of the Emir of Katsina.
After a brief illness, he passed away at his home in the Katsina state’s Rimi Local Government Area (LGA).
A member of the family, Alhaji Aminu Nuhu Abdulkadir, confirmed the traditional ruler’s demise in the early hours of Tuesday.
He would be buried later today, at 2 PM, according to Islamic rites.
Before his demise, Alhaji Abdulkadir was among the four kingmakers of the Katsina Emirate Council.
Moments after news broke of his passing on Tuesday morning, social media was inundated with messages of grief and condolences. Politicians and indigenes are among those sending their sympathy.
