Breaking: “I Go FIRE YOU NOW”, Journalist in Police Threats
NewsReport gathered that in Lagos, a policeman was captured threatening journalists by covering demonstrations taking place throughout the country on the 12 June democracy day.
The coverage viewed by POLITICS NIGERIA shows a woman journalist seeking to prevent her colleague’s arrest by the police as she informed him repeatedly he was a journalist, a plea that fell on deaf ears.
Shortly thereafter, a police person was seen interrupting a group of journalists who covered the protest live. The journalists he threatened to shoot.
“I go fire you now! Move out of the place”, the police officer clad in a bulletproof vest is heard saying.
