NewsReport gathered that many people of Kautikari, a town in Borno State’s Chibok Local Government Area, were presumed dead when militants from the Islamic State-backed Boko Haram offshoot, the Islamic State West Africa Province, stormed the settlement.

A resident told SaharaReporters that the terrorists, who arrived in ten gun trucks, invaded the village about 8:00 p.m. on Friday and promptly set fire to residences.
