NewsReport gathered that after colliding head-on with a heavy-duty truck carrying construction boulders, fourteen passengers on board a Ford minibus were killed in the fire.

According to officials from the Western Regional Motor Traffic and Transport Unit, who confirmed the death toll, the accident occurred between Beposo and Asemassa in the Western region’s Shama district.
According to eyewitnesses, all 14 people, including a Chinese national, were on the Ford bus.
Early footage and photos from the accident scene show charred bodies trapped inside the burnt-out bus, with thick smoke billowing from the vehicles.
The fires have since been extinguished by Ghana Fire Service personnel.
