Ms. Danjuma stated, “I am here with the CEO of the TY Danjuma Foundation, representing Gen. TY Danjuma. I bring his letter of sympathy for you, the council members, and the people of Borno State. I also present a N1 billion donation. Please accept my father’s condolences for his inability to be here due to certain challenges.”

Governor Zulum expressed gratitude to Gen. Danjuma’s representatives for their visit, noting the flood’s severe impact on both the economy and the loss of lives and property. He remarked, “On behalf of Borno State’s government and people, I sincerely thank this delegation,” reflecting on the Foundation’s past support, including the rehabilitation of public institutions affected by Boko Haram in Dikwa and Bama.

Zenith Bank’s team, led by Comfort Kwajjafa, also extended their sympathies to Governor Zulum and Borno State’s residents, presenting a check for N300 million.

Similarly, representatives from Rano Group, led by Lawan Sabo and Alhaji Ardo Rano, expressed their condolences and donated N50 million to the flood relief initiative.
